In a year that was defined by hardship, independent artists at UnitedMasters were able to overcome the chaos to create some incredible music. Here are our favorite songs from UnitedMasters artists this year, in no particular order. Stay tuned for our Top Artists of 2020 list coming this week!

3xBravo first went viral with his TikTok hit “Heart Gone”, but it was the powerful follow-up single, “Die Young” with its anthemic chorus and hard-hitting message that fully established him as an artist to watch.

Houston favorite Tobe Nwigwe has been consistently releasing quality music and visuals every Sunday for years in his #GetTwistedSundays series, and his 2020 installment, “Try Jesus” was a clear standout, best experienced in his ethereal live performance at the 2020 BET Hip-Hop Awards.
“Wipe It Down” — BMW KENNY
BMW KENNY’s timely hit “Wipe It Down” was inescapable in 2020, with Gen-Z creators like Avani Gregg to international stars like Will Smith participating the viral challenge on TikTok.
“Moods” — Scorey
Syracuse rapper Scorey turned heads in early 2020 with a Polo G co-sign and delivered on his newfound buzz in September with his melodic banger and accompanying video, “Moods”, shot by frequent Polo G collaborator Ryan Lynch.
“LMK” — Lil Xxel
Lil Xxel transcended TikTok fame with his insanely catchy debut single, “LMK”, a dance-infused pop gem that gained tens of millions of streams in a matter of weeks.
“3 VETS” — THE FUTURE KINGZ
Chicago hip-hop crew The Future Kingz went from earning a feature in DaBaby’s “BOP” video to scoring a hit of their own with “3 VETS”.
“Hasta Luego” — IGIR Woodiee
With “Hasta Luego”, Atlanta newcomer IGIR Woodiee went from relative obscurity to gaining millions of streams and adding Lil Durk to the song’s official remix.
“Get Rich Or Die Tryin” — YSN Fab
Winnipeg’s best kept secret YSN Fab made huge strides 2020 with his song and video “Get Rich or Die Tryin”, which appeared on his excellent new album “Winnipeg’s Anomaly”.
