UNITEDMASTERS AND TWITCH PARTNER TO EXTEND THE ‘TWITCH AFFILIATE PROGRAM’ TO SELECT INDEPENDENT ARTISTS AND CREATORS ALLOWING MORE ACCESS TO FANS AND NEW REVENUE STREAMS
New In-App Integration With Twitch Gives UnitedMasters SELECT Artists the Opportunity to Get Paid for Live Streams
The Twitch Affiliate Program allows qualifying creators to unlock income opportunities as Twitch Streamers. Now, that opportunity is available to SELECT artists. SELECT offers artists 100% of their streaming royalties in exchange for distribution to over 35+ DSPs, the opportunity to release unlimited music, access to exclusive brand deals, and a suite of creator tools allowing them to better engage fans. This is a community of independent artists that have demonstrated the entrepreneurial effort toward creating music, building fans and establishing a viable business.
Eligible UnitedMasters SELECT artists will receive an email with details on the Twitch Affiliate Program with the goal of helping them to expand their fanbase and earn income while they live stream. Once connected to their Twitch account, these artists will be able to monetize their music through ads, subscriptions, and Bits when live streaming on the service. To qualify, creators must be UnitedMasters SELECT members, have a release live for at least 30 days, and a minimum of three streams across DSPs.
UnitedMasters and Twitch first partnered in Fall of 2020 when Twitch launched ‘Soundtrack by Twitch,’ a rights cleared music tool designed for Twitch creators that connected them with the music of independent artists. UnitedMasters was one of several label and distribution partners that gave Twitch rights to use their music on the service allowing creators to feature licensed music within their live streams while also creating a new way for musicians to be discovered by the Twitch community.
