How Changes to Amazon Music Distribution Affect Your Releases

To align with new standards regarding catalog management, the way we distribute music to Amazon Music is changing.

Here’s what you need to know.

Inactive Releases on Amazon Music

Releases that have received zero plays on Amazon Music across all of their tracks over the previous 12 months will be removed from Amazon Music.

Releases that have not been live on Amazon Music for more than 12 months will not be affected.

This applies to Amazon Music only and does not affect distribution of these releases to Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube or anywhere else we deliver.
