NLE Choppa Earns RIAA Gold Certification for “Cottonwood” Album

NLE Choppa’s independently-released debut album, “Cottonwood” has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) with over 500,000 units sold. It’s the latest score from the 18 year old hitmaker, who recently secured other platinum and gold certifications for his hit singles “Shotta Flow” (2x platinum), “Shotta Flow 2” (Platinum) and “Capo” (Gold).

The album includes the hit songs “Shotta Flow Remix” (featuring Blueface), “Clicc Clacc” (produced by Murda Beatz), “Step” and “Cruze” (feat. Meek Mill, and was accompanied by a short film contextualizing NLE Choppa’s upbringing in Memphis, TN.
