Getting Started

Once your music has been live on Apple Music for at least 5 days, you can request artist access. You can do this through your UnitedMasters account by going to Settings > Artist > and clicking create Apple Music profile. This ensures any music you’ve released is mapped to the correct Apple Music profile. Then, update your Apple Music profile with a picture and fill out the Q&As  to personalize the way you present yourself to fans.

Get a deeper look at who’s listening to your tracks on Apple Music and beyond, because Apple Music for Artists gives you access to data that no other creator platform can - Shazam counts, real time listeners, plus actual terrestrial and digital radio spins. Through the analytics dashboard, you can track performance metrics like daily listeners, radio spins, Shazam counts, purchases, and more. You can even tap into a global view of your listeners, looking at your performance metrics by region.

Connect with your fans

Keep the post-release momentum going by engaging with your fans on socials. With Apple Music for Artists, you can easily customize social content showcasing your latest or upcoming releases, helping you drive plays/pre-adds and encouraging fans to favorite your artist page so they can get notified whenever you drop new music.  Create a Set List playlist to build excitement for an upcoming tour or to revisit a memorable show or special performance.
